LT. SHRI SHYAMSUNDAR KEJRIWAL
Lt. Shri Shyamsundar Kejriwal was a visionary industrialist. Long before the word ‘Globalisation’ came into our everyday lexicon, he had foreseen the winds of change and staked the future of his business on a competitive, free-market driven economic order.
He founded the Kejriwal Iron & Steel Works in 1957 which eventually became KISWOK INDUSTRIES PVT. LTD. which after 64 years has grown to become the largest Ferrous Casting Unit in Eastern India.
Intense as he was at work, his work extended far beyond the confines of business. Karma e Dharma was his philosophy that has established KISWOK to where it is today, thriving with exponentially growing global footprints.
Late Shri Shyamsundar Kejriwal also served the EEPC India as a Chairman of its Eastern Region for a long time. Being actively associated with the Indian Foundry Association (IFA) and The Institute of Indian Foundrymen (HF) he contributed significantly towards development of the Foundry Industry in Howrah area.
Our love and respect for Shri Shyamsundar Kejriwal remain undiminished by the passage of time. We always look up to him. We see him as a role model – for his simplicity, his generosity, his kindness and the care he took of his employees. His vastness and munificence will keep on inspiring us to make Kiswok a shining star in the global industrial firmament in the future to come.
